Heri Dono "Civilization Oddness" at Walsh Gallery

As quoted from exhibition card, "Heri Dono's installation art and painting is a melange of cartoon-like whimsy and Javanese shadow-puppet making. One of the first internationally-recognized artists from Indonesia, Dono's art leads the way into a peculiar world of cultural collusion."

by far the most crowded, hipshit show I saw. I picked this one cuz it was least like the others which still isn't saying much. Well done paintings just not explorative of the medium at all.
